Delhi University UG Admission Process, Top Colleges, Programs & More

DU UG Admissions 2024:Almost every student aspiring for UG dreams of DU admission. Delhi University is a premium institution to which every year lakhs of students apply and seek admission. The names of the top colleges of DU are practically household names for every student pursuing their Class 12. DU UG programs are considered to be one of the best in the country. Apart from these, the exposure, infrastructure, facilities, and placement opportunities that DU offers make DU admission a top choice for aspiring students.

However, the DU admission process has significantly changed in the past two years (along with those of many other universities). Commencing in 2022, all admissions to DU UG programs have to be done via the entrance exam called the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Unlike earlier, now the students have to fill in the CUET form and appear in the test for admission to DU. The entire DU admission process will be based on the CUET scorecards of the students. This, however, does not entirely rule out the significance of the Class 12 Board results, as in a scenario of tiebreaker (two or more students with the same CUET score applying for the same college and course), the one with higher marks in Boards (best of 3, 4, and 5 subsequently) may be awarded the seat.
