CUET Full Form
Earlier introduced as the CUCET, its revamped version, CUET - Common University Entrance Test. As the name
suggests, it is a national-level common entrance test for UG admissions at the universities participating in
it. Earlier (before 2022), in CUCET, only 13 central universities participated and admitted students based
on their CUCET scores. But in the CUET Exam 2024, 250+ universities, including 45 central and many other
state, private, and deemed universities, will participate too. All the top universities in the country (like
DU, BHU, JNU, JMI, Allahabad University, Hyderabad University, and many more) will be a part of CUET and
take UG admissions based on the CUET score of the candidate.
The CUET full form – Common University Entrance Test aims to create an equal and fair playground for all the
students seeking UG admission based on a common set of parameters. The NTA has been bestowed with the
responsibility of conducting the CUET Exam 2024.
